Full Time 37.5 hours per week
£32,500 per year
As a Housing Manager, you will have a crucial role in overseeing our housing operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing housing services and ensuring the effective support of vulnerable individuals.
- Developing and implementing housing policies and procedures.
- Leading and supervising a team of housing support workers and tenancy officers.
- Building positive relationships with landlords and agencies to secure suitable accommodation for our clients.
- Ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining high service standards.
- Monitoring and evaluating service delivery to drive continuous improvement.

In the role of Tenancy Officer, you will play a crucial part in helping individuals secure and maintain their tenancies. Your duties will encompass:
- Assessing applications for housing support and determining eligibility.
- Assisting clients in finding suitable properties and liaising with landlords.
- Ensuring accurate completion of forms and documentation.
- Mediating and resolving tenancy-related issues between landlords, tenants, and support workers.
- Coordinating with housing benefit authorities and relevant agencies for smooth tenancy transitions.
- Identifying and referring clients to appropriate support services.
- Maintaining up-to-date records and reports.

As a Housing Support Worker, you will directly assist individuals on their journey to independent living. Your key responsibilities will involve:
- Assisting clients in finding suitable accommodation and facilitating smooth transitions.
- Conducting needs assessments and developing personalized support plans.

- Providing comprehensive support, addressing practical and emotional needs with a person-centered approach.
- Maintaining accurate records.
- Collaborating with landlords and mediating tenant-landlord issues to sustain tenancies.
- Addressing maintenance concerns and conducting property inspections.
